Short version: your recordings stay on your phone, there are no accounts, and the app contains no ads or analytics.

Your recordings

When you record a phrase, the audio is saved on your device. The app does not upload your recordings anywhere. Deleting the app removes them.

Microphone

The app asks for microphone permission only so you can record your phrases. It does not listen in the background.

Accounts and tracking

There are no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking tools in the app. We don't collect your name, email, location, or contacts.

Sleep sound downloads

Four sleep sounds come with the app. The others download from our file host (Cloudflare) the first time you choose them and are then saved on your phone. Like any web server, the host may process technical information, such as your IP address, to deliver the file. We don't receive or store personal information from these downloads.

Settings stored on your phone

Your chosen sound, volumes, rhythm, and the names you give to each voice are saved on your device only.

Children

Dr. Sheepy is made for parents and caregivers. It does not collect information from children.

Changes

If we ever add accounts, analytics, or uploads, we'll update this page and tell you in the app before it takes effect.
